Isolux Corsán has been awarded 6 new contracts for the construction of different infrastructures in India, where the Company totalling the amount of 175 M€.
The Company will be enlarging and improving 88 kilometres of roads in Odisha State (between the communities of Chandbali, Bhadrak and Anadpuren) with an anticipated budget of 36.5 M€.
Isolux Corsán has also been awarded three contracts for the improvement and construction of new facilities in the Delhi Metro. The Group’s experience in this country’s railway industry was decisive for the award of these contracts, given that it has projects for this type of infrastructures under way in the most important cities in the country, such as the substations for the Bombay commuter train network or installing the third rail for the Calcutta metro system.
The first of these projects, for improving and conditioning the Delhi Metro System Line 4 electromechanical facilities, entailing an investment of 26 M€, will be carried out via a Joint Venture with Sterling and Wilson Limited India.
Apart from the above, Isolux Corsán will be working together with Sadbhav Engineering Limited India in two projects for the construction of 2 viaducts and 7 elevated stations plus the architectural finishing on bus stops and urban parks for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. These projects has a global investment of 70 M€.
Isolux Corsán has recently been awarded two new transmission and distribution contracts. The first of these two contracts, with an inversion of 28 M€, is for the construction and supply of 260 km of 132 kV lines, 20 km of 220 kV lines, 7 new substations and 5 bay enlargements in existing substations in 220 kV and 132 kV in Madhya Pradesh State.
The second contract will be consist in the procurement, design, supply and installation of Isolux received the letter of award for the 220KV, 132 KV & 66 KV sub-stations and 66 KV bays at Gurgaon and Sonepat in the state of Haryana by “Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited” (HVPNL). The total value of the project is close to 14 M€ .This is the first assignment received by Isolux Corsan in India for the GIS Substation.
